Welcome to the UofC Chinese Calligraphy Club. Our club is new, but we already have tons of fun. We meet every Sunday in RC001 from 1 to 3pm to practice Calligraphy, learn about Calligraphy related culture and arts, and sometimes even watch movies. Calligraphers of all levels of experience can find something interesting for them to practice, from the basic horizontal stroke to the different styles of Chinese Calligraphy. Extensive (or even basic) knowledge of the Chinese, Japanese or Korean language is not at all required to participate in the writing of Calligraphy. We even provide supplies! CALLIGRAPHERS : The Chinese Calligraphy Club(CCC) at the University of Chicago sincerely invites you to come to our calligraphy session to do demonstration, give a lecture or hold a workshop.
